Our Story

The Gunn Finance and Business Club is a welcoming community at Gunn High School bringing together like-minded students who have a passion for business and finance and. With the California school curriculum focusing heavily on STEM, most students are illiterate about core business concepts like marketing and accounting. This club was founded in 2020 by Gunn Alums Eshan Gupta and Shantanu Khaladkar with the aim of providing Gunn’s student body with excellent and detailed financial and business literacy with a strong commitment to excellence. Unlike other clubs at Gunn High School, we have a unique approach of educating students in a classroom style environment, as well as engaging students in hands on application activities to apply their knowledge. We teach our members about business principles, investing principles, and elementary economics concepts. Our team is comprised of all the Gunn High School students from our core Invest Bright team. The Gunn Finance Club is led by Ethan Sa, Isaac Oh, Kaley Yang, Kai Lee, and Anthoney Lou.
